Omar Marcos - Graphic Design: Print - Worship Conference

PRINT WORK

An informative & invitational piece seeking direct responses for a scheduled worship & art conference. Since there was a limited printing budget for printing, I resorted to a 2-color solution and I also implemented a varied rhythm in the typography and layout.
Today many print companies only require your digital files in RGB format, but if you work with a local print shop using CMYK plate processes, be sure to get a signed or initialed press proof that meets your approval & that's marked with the date & time of printing. Print runs are sometimes done at odd hours, so your sales rep or contact might not be available. But you still need a press operator or someone who will sign & guarantee the quality of the output. And if the resulting print run deviates from the quality of your signed proof, then the onus is on the print shop to either correct it or refund your money (…unless it's a typo or image selection error on your part).
