They say learning music is akin to learning another language. If that's true, then I'm still in the early stages in terms of musical knowledge. I can write a little bit of music, and I can read it with even less accuracy.
And the rumors are true. I fear jazz musicians for the incredible breadth of their knowledge of chord variations and for their ability to improvise on a theme.
