WEBSITES
[ VERSION 2.0 of OMARMARCOS.COM ] Brief origin story: I didn't learn how to design web pages until after receiving my degree. Sure, as students we were introduced to the basics of interactive navigation (limited kiosk-style projects), as well as advised on developing flow charts for pre-planning. And I even had a chance in my senior year to take part in a learn-as-you go HTML position, but for some reason I had a sincere aversion to learning web design back then. (…Really shortsighted of me, I know!)
However, I eventually came to my senses and realized the value of being able to code my own sites. With the assistance of a book or two, as well as freely available info on the net, I became a self-taught web designer. I realize I have tons more to learn and I likely take a few ill-advised shortcuts in my method (…I don't even make flow charts anymore!), but web design was definitely a skill well worth learning.
THE MOBILE VERSION OF THIS PORTFOLIO IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
(Then again, the desktop version is still under construction, too…)
