

One of the benefits of the introduction of the camera as an artistic medium was to supposedly liberate creatives from painstakingly having to reproduce detailed images of the real world. And yet, nevertheless, artists have continued to attempt to imitate reality with their unique vision, using both traditional and non-traditional treatments. Perhaps we view the world we live in as being so beautiful that it's worthy of highly accurate & flattering depiction. Or maybe we simply love a good artistic challenge. Whatever the case may be, what follows are a few of my works in this time-consuming style.
