It only seemed natural to eventually begin making illustrative renderings of a few of the recipes I set out to prepare. And obviously, this style reflects a departure from my more detailed and realistic subject matter, encompassing a looser treatment with a hint of a whimsical touch. Which will definitely come in handy when it comes to drawing a serving platter of 100 churros!
