Occasionally, I do dabble in creating my own original characters. Unfortunately, I don't often develop them to the maximum degree possible. However, in the examples below, you can at least view a glimpse of a few examples of mine in this genre.
ORIGINAL CHARACTER:

Some people visualize the Virgin Mary in their toasted bread or manifestations of the Christ in their morning latté. I see potential characters in a crumpled up napkin, which is where the following fellow originated from. I'm wondering if this guy could be a sketchy teenager (…but then let's refrain from condescending stereotypes, shall we?). Instead, I think he's more of an interplanetary resistance fighter on a top secret mission, traveling light & fast and hoping to go unnoticed by authoritarian guards as he carries plans crucial for the triumph of good. Will he be successful in his journey?…

For those of you wondering, yes, I do illustrate other character types besides just the female figure. 😆 The sketch below is one in a series I happened to develop while doodling one day. I'm still pondering his backstory, but I can tell you this guy is prone to catching colds, leaving him with an all-too-frequent runny nose. And as such, he was quite overjoyed when he got his hands on the last box of Kleenex!
