God is the ultimate artist, and as a photographer, it's my privilege to attempt to record just a glimpse of His handiwork. From the golden leafscape of a crisp autumn morning to the uncontrollable frenzy of the ocean's waves to the mesmerizing splendor of a perfect sunset, capturing all such wonders would truly take an entire lifetime (…and then some).
If you've ever heard the classic Vineyard worship song "Creation Calls" by Brian Doerksen, you may recall some of his improvised lines during the instrumental interlude. At one point, he worshipfully declares, "Lord, if this is fallen creation, what must have been!" Think about that for a moment. Even though the planet we live in is so broken and nowhere near its original created state, its beauty can still leave us breathless in awe. With all the problems in the world today, it's encouraging to know we can view at least a partial snapshot into God's original intention when we see the natural wonders He brilliantly designed.
POINT-&-SHOOT CAMERA
Most of these photos were taken with an ancient Minolta film point-and-shooter which unfortunately has long since gone the way of the landfill. Sure, I've made some minor tonal adjustments in the following images, but I absolutely loved that little camera for the quality of its saturation and image vibrancy.

SMARTPHONE CAMERA
On occasion I'll post images in this section from a newer phone, and at other times, I'll upload photos taken with an older one, which for some reason gives the most interesting tonalities especially when capturing atmospheric shots.
